I'm an expat Kiwi (New Zealander) living in Thailand.

What I love about photography is that it is limitless. Every single image is different. There are no two images the same. I love the wonderful thing that is light, dancing and bouncing and revealing and creating shadows. The other limitless thing about this medium is that it is constantly pushing me. I am never completely satisfied, and this drives me ever to making better and better images. This happens to appeal to my personality.

Style

I started shooting portraits, and commercial stock. The stock shooting gave my work a commercial flavor. This commercial look is what hotels want. Combining portrait shooting and the commercial look I ended up developing this blend, which is mine. I would describe it as "Polished Lifestyle Images". These images are real enough to be personal, but polished enough to give the images the gloss they need.

Vision

My vision is to create the best images possible that capture the essence of places and people. In other words "to make amazing images that capture the heart and soul." If you can't feel the pictures, then I have failed.

Gear

For those of you who are gear-heads and want to know what I use, I have two bodies; The amazing Nikon D800E for wide (full frame) use and the Nikon D7000 for long work.
